Terms of use and sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Kuur, an online service published by Benoît Morin (sole trader (French micro-entrepreneur), trading as Kuur, SIRET 833 409 154 00022), which makes lyric films from the songs and lyrics you provide. Creating an account means you accept them.

2. Account

One account per person, with a valid email address. You are responsible for its use. Accounts created to get around limits (free film, invite credits) may be closed and their credits cancelled.

3. Credits and prices

• 10 credits make 1 minute of Template film, counted to the second and rounded up to the next credit (one minute at least). An Original film costs 80 credits a minute, an Original Max film 120.
• Re-making one part of a film costs 35% of its price in credits; re-making the whole film with a new idea costs 75%.
• The price of a film is shown before you start it. Credits are taken when the film starts and given back automatically if it fails.
• Plans: Creator: $12/month or $99/year, 300 credits a month; Pro: $29/month or $249/year, 900 credits a month; Studio: $99/month or $990/year, 4000 credits a month. Packs, which never expire: 100 credits: $5 · 500 credits: $20 · 1500 credits: $50.
• Unused credits of a monthly plan roll over one month. Free credits (invites, welcome) are for Template films only and have no cash value.
• Prices are in US dollars. Any VAT is calculated and collected by our reseller at checkout.

4. Payment and reseller

Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), acting as reseller (merchant of record): it issues the invoice and collects VAT. Its buyer terms apply to the payment. Plans renew automatically every period; cancel any time from the "Credits and plan" page, effective at the end of the paid period.

4a. Kuur Studio (a film made for you)

For $19 per song, Kuur makes an Original film for you: a 1080p 16:9 film up to 5 minutes, a 60-second vertical Short and the subtitles file, with one round of changes. You send the song, the lyrics and your notes after payment; the film is delivered by email within 48 hours of receiving everything. As the film is made to your specifications, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once its making has started with your agreement (French Consumer Code, article L221-28, 3°). If we cannot make your film, you are refunded in full.

5. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from purchase to withdraw. Credits are digital content supplied at once: by starting a film, you ask for the service to be performed immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for the credits used (French Consumer Code, article L221-28, 1° and 13°). Purchases with no credit used are refunded on request to support@kuur.app within these 14 days.

6. Your songs and lyrics

You confirm that you hold the rights needed on the songs, lyrics, texts and ideas you upload, and that they infringe no one's rights. You give us a limited licence to process them only to make your films. We do not share them and do not use them to train any AI model. You can delete them at any time.

7. Your films

You may use the films you make with Kuur as you wish, including commercially on a paid plan, within the rights on the song (for a Suno song, check that your Suno plan allows commercial use). Free-plan films carry a small Kuur mark and a 2.5-second end card with your invite link, and are for non-commercial use. The code of the styles and films remains Kuur's property and is licensed to you to play and export your films.

Films are generated with artificial intelligence. Despite our checks, a film may contain mistakes, in particular in the story text on screen: its sources are shown to you, check them before you publish.

8. Forbidden uses

Do not use Kuur for content that is illegal, hateful, violent, sexual content involving minors, defamatory or infringing, or to get around the limits of the service. We may suspend accounts that abuse it. Films shared in the gallery follow the community guidelines.

9. Affiliate programme

• Every account has an invite link. The person invited gets 30 free credits when signing up.
• You get 30% of what Kuur receives (after VAT and payment fees) on your invitees' payments for 12 months, and 100 credits on their first purchase.
• Commissions are earned after 30 days and cancelled if the payment is refunded. They are paid monthly by PayPal or bank transfer from $50, or at once in credits worth 1.5 times their amount.
• Forbidden: self-referral, multiple accounts, spam, paid ads on the Kuur brand. Fraud cancels the commissions.
• You are responsible for declaring your commissions where you live.

10. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the service available and reliable, without guarantee. Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months, except for gross negligence or where the law says otherwise.

12. Complaints and mediation

Write to us first at support@kuur.app: we answer within 48 hours. Payments are collected by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), Kuur's reseller and merchant of record: for a payment, an invoice or a refund, you can also turn to them under their buyer terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and may go to its courts. We may change these terms; important changes are emailed to you at least 30 days in advance.
